Slow Cooked Roast Lamb

Yummy Slow Cooked Roast Lamb

Ingredients:

1.5kg piece of lamb
Salt and Pepper as you like
Rosemary

Directions:

I just place the lamb in the slow cooker, rub a bit of olive oil over it, salt and pepper and rosemary sprigs, no liquid as it cooks in its own juices. (You can put garlic on it if you wish, I don’t as we like it as is)
Cook on low for 7-8 hours
Once cooked you can place into a preheated oven to brown but again I don’t bother as we like it as is.




GRAVY
Once I take the lamb out to rest I put some plain flour and gravox powder in a jug and mix with water till there are no lumps (I don’t measure I just add the water a bit at a time till I get the consistency I want, I have it on the thick side not runny)
I then add it to the juices in the slow cooker and whisk it in, you can add a bit of water if it’s too thick, just add a bit at a time till you get it how u like it. (If you boil your vegetables use the water from the pot otherwise from the tap)
Just let it heat up and your done
It’s the best flavoured gravy, so delicious
From the first time I did it this way my daughter has asked for it to be done in
the slow cooker every time, it’s her favourite way for roast lamb.
