Slow Cooker Chilli Con Carne Recipe , Looks & smells delicious
Ingredients:
500g Mince steak
1 onion
1 red pepper
2tsps ground cumin
2tsps mild chilli powder
25g Dark Chocolate
400g red kidney beans (drained & rinsed)
2tsps cayenne pepper
150ml Beef Stock
1 Large tin baked beans
3 Tbsps Tomato Pureé
Method:
I fried my mince, onion and pepper in a pan first with some olive oil frylight. Then transferred to the slow cooker and adding in the remainder of ingredients (minus chocolate) mixed together and left on high for 2 hrs. Alternatively could’ve been put on low for 4-5 hours. Chocolate was added in just before serving and mixed. Can be served with rice, or equally as nice with some chips!
