Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings Recipe
Ingredients:
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1(12 oz) frozen mixed vegetables (peas & carrots only)
1 onion, diced finely
2(10.5 oz) cans cream of chicken soup
2 cups chicken broth
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 can biscuits (10 count)
Method:
Add the chicken and veggies to the slow cooker.
in a bowl mix the cream of chicken soups, seasonings and broth together.
Pour the soup mixture over the top of the chicken and veggies.
Cook on low for 6 hours.
Once cooked remove the chicken and shred, add back into the slow cooker, Stir
Cut the biscuits into quarters and place on top of the chicken mixture in the slow cooker.
turn the slow cooker to high and cook for an additional hour to a hour and half (until the biscuits are cooked through), stir occasionally during this cook time. Enjoy
