Sticky Toffee Apple Pudding

Slow COOKER Sticky toffee apple pudding 

Ingredients:

2 eating apples cored, peeled and sliced
200 grams butter
1 tsp vanilla essence
200 grams all purpose/self raising flour
3 eggs
200 grams brown sugar

Cream the butter and brown sugar
Add the eggs, flour and vanilla essence and apples

Coat the slow cooker with butter and add the mixture

300ml apple juice
100 grams brown sugar
100 grams golden syrup




Method:

Warm this up slightly just to melt the sugar and syrup and pour over mixture, do not stir it in

Place a dish cloth under the lid and set on high for 2 hours and then check to see if it needs a bit longer.

Served with coconut & chocolate ice cream.

Ingredients:

1 tbsp vegetable oil
200g soft light brown sugar
200g butter (or margarine), softened
3 eggs (medium)
200g self-raising flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 apples (peeled, cored & chopped into bitesized pieces)

For the sauce-
300ml apple juice
100g golden syrup
100g soft light brown sugar

Method:
Mix all the top ingredients together then put in the slow cooker.
Heat all the sauce ingredients in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves and then pour into the slow cooker over the pudding mix. Put the lid on and cook on high for 3 hours. Yummy!
