Slow Cooker Beef bourguignon

My own rendition of Slow Cooker Beef bourguignon minus the bacon as I don’t eat pork.

Ingredients:

– 500g Diced Beef
– A handful of baby potatoes (to your liking)
– 3 chopped carrots
– A spoonful of chopped garlic
– Half a chopped red onion
– A handful of fresh parsley
– A handful of fresh thyme
– 1/4of red wine bottle
– 2 teaspoons of sugar to sweeten
– Beef stock paste
– Spoon of flour

Seasonings used:
– salt
– Black pepper
– Onion powder
– Garlic powder
– Paprika
– Mixed herbs
– Worcester sauce
– Dark soya sauce

Directions:

1. Sear the diced beef for about 3 minutes and then spoon into your slow cooker
2. Using the juices from the meat, add your red wine & let it simmer for a couple of minutes; add a spoonful of flour to thicken the sauce & some sugar to sweeten to your liking
3. Place the sauce, carrots, onion & garlic into the slow cooker & add some thyme & parsley
4. Cook on low for 4 hours.
