Cookies and Cream Fudge.
I used two blocks of Cadbury Dream and a buttload of Oreos (both crushed up, which I mixed in with the fudge right at the end, and whole to line the bottom of the tin).
I’m not a fan because I don’t like white chocolate, but Hubble just devoured two pieces in 0.6 seconds.
It’s just the standard fudge recipe:
Ingredients:
1 tin sweetened condensed milk
two blocks of chocolate, in this case family sized block of dream)
a dollop of butter
a dash of vanilla.
I also added in 1.5 packets of Oreo biscuits in total, including crushed and Intact cookies.
Method:
Cook on high for an hour and a half, stirring every 15 minutes (I set a timer on my phone) and rotating my pot.
I crushed up a bunch of Oreo biscuits and added them in the mix in the last 15 minutes.
I also lined the bottom of the tin with the whole biscuits (16 of them fitted into the bottom of the tin).
Poured the fudge mixture on top of the cookies and put it into the fridge to set.
Also, just a top, I have found that it is best to cook it for the full 1.5 hours. I make sure I stir it every 15 minutes by setting a timer and when I do that I also rotate the pot 180 degrees to allow for any hot spots. I’ve never had any fudge burn while doing this.
