Dessert made in the 1.5L baby slow cooker
Bread & Butter Pudding Recipe made with cinnamon donuts.
Ingredients:
8 donuts cut into quarters
1 cup of milk
3 eggs
1/4 tsp nutmeg and cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla sugar (I didn’t have essence)
Directions:
I greased the slow cooker bowl with butter, then cut all the donuts into quarters and layered them in the bowl. In another bowl I whisked all the other ingredients and then poured it over the donuts. Tea towel under the lid and cooked on high for 2 hours, and it tastes so yummy.
It’s really nice as I love the traditional one which is made with bread and sultanas. When its mixed in with the donuts you don’t really notice its not custard.
