Slow Cooker Brisket

Slow cooker brisket

Ingredients:

1.2kg beef brisket
2 tbsp of honey or there abouts
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce (I add a little extra because I feel it’s needs it)
1 cup of BBQ sauce (I use the coles brand one when cooking)
1/2 cup of Dijon mustard or more, I really love mustard.
Some fresh or dried rosemary
1 1/2 cups of beef stock

Directions:

You can brown the meat first but I find it is better without it.
Combine all the ingredients together and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 5.
I cook it on low and the last 1 hour 30 mins I change to high to reduce the sauce. Save some of the sauce to use as gravy. Then shred it to your hearts desire.
Goes great served with your fave mash and some peas and carrots (you can add your saved gravy to pour over the veggies.
I tweaked another slow cooked recipe from another site to suit our tastebuds.
To use in a burger, reduce the BBQ sauce to 1/2 cup and 1 cup of beef stock.
Enjoy.
