Last night I made a beef stew with home made dumplings and ohh my It tasted the same as it did when I made it a year ago,
Ingredients:
Small packs of diced beef
4 carrots
1 large onion
beef stock
veg stock
1 pack of stew mix
water
gravey granuals
Method:
I used to small packs of diced beef from tesco 4 carrots sliced and then sliced again 1 large onion beef stock veg stock 1 pack of stew mix sachet powder thing, filled with water just so it covers it place on high for like 5/6 hours then warm/low for 2 hours then put back on high for the last hour then a add gravey granuals stir it in all,
Dumplings 4oz of self raising flower about 3oz of suet and mix water some cold water to form a dough ball placed in the over for around 20/25mins on about 170 then for the last few mins I placed it in the slow cooker just to get that gravey on the bottom of the dumpling,
Broccoli I left in a saucepan with cold water for half a day then boiled it for about 20/25 mins.
