Slow Cooker Beef Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
500 gram of diced beef
1 large white onion
2 sticks of celery diced,
4 medium carrots sliced,
a large clove of garlic chopped
2 good beef stock cubes
1 teaspoon of marmite
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon of bisto granules
Directions:
500g of diced casserole beef or stewing steak, Fry that off and the add a large white onion diced small..
Then add 2 sticks of celery diced, 4 medium carrots sliced, a large clove of garlic chopped or 2 medium cloves, 2 good beef stock cubes and a teaspoonful of marmite (trust me if you don’t like it you won’t know it’s there) salt and pepper to taste. Transfer all ingredients to your slow cooker and add boiling water just to the top of your ingredients, no higher. Cook on medium heat for 6-7 hours, then at the end I add 1 tablespoon of bisto granules. Give a good stir and cook for another 10 mins. Serve with buttery mash and crusty rolls xx
