Slow Cooker Banana Malt Cake. Serving with Custard.
Ingredients:
1 3/4 Cups SR Flour
1 Cup Vanilla Yoghurt
2 Tablespoons Vegetable oil
2 Eggs
1/3 Cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Essence
2 Mashed bananas
Half Teaspoon of freshly Grated Nutmeg
Half teaspoon of Cinnamon
4 Tablespoons Malt.
Method:
1. Line your SC with baking paper.
2. Mix Sugar, Eggs, Oil, Yoghurt, Vanilla Essence and mashed banana together with wooden spoon, until well combined.
3. Add into wet mixture the SR Flour, Nutmeg, Cinnamon and Malt. Mix until well combined.
4. Pour into slow cooker bowl and cook on high for 3 and 1/2 hours.
( This is how long mine took to cook in a 3 litre cooker)
Times may vary in different size cookers.
Enjoy with a Cuppa , Serve with fresh whipped Cream , Custard or Ice- Cream.
NOTE:
Question: How do you get the cakes out?
Answer: If you see my photo I have 2 pieces of baking paper on each side of bowl and cut out the oval shape on bottom. I used the 2 on sides to lift out, Easy Hun
