2 ribeye or sirloin steaks

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

4 eggs

3 cups shredded potatoes (hash browns)

1 small onion, chopped small

2 tbsp vegetable oil

Steak and Eggs with Hash Browns: Directions

Sprinkle lots of salt and black pepper on both sides of the steaks.

Heat a pan on medium-high. Put in olive oil.

Cook steaks 3-4 minutes on each side until done how you like. Add butter at the end and spoon it over the steaks. Take them out and let rest.

In another pan, warm vegetable oil on medium. Add shredded potatoes and chopped onion. Press down flat. Cook without moving until golden and crunchy.

Flip and cook the other side until brown. Add salt and black pepper.

In the same pan or a new one, fry eggs sunny-side up or how you want.
