Smothered Beef Tips Slow Cooker: Directions
-
Spray or oil your slow cooker inside to make cleanup easy.
-
In a bowl, mix the mushroom soup and gravy packet until smooth and thick. That’s good for yummy sauce!
-
Put the beef cubes in the bottom of the cooker. Spread them out nice and even.
-
Pour the soup mix over the beef. Scrape the bowl clean with a spoon. Stir a little to cover the meat—the sauce gets better as it cooks.
-
Put on the lid. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours. Beef should be soft and easy to cut with a fork. Don’t peek too much!
-
Stir it all up. The sauce will look shiny and thick. Add a tiny bit of water or broth if you want it thinner.
-
Taste and add salt or pepper only if needed—the mix has lots already. Switch to WARM until dinner time.
-
Spoon hot beef and gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles. Yum!
Serve with potatoes, noodles, or rice to soak up the gravy. Add green veggies, bread, or fruit on the side for a full, happy meal.
