Slow Cooker Tuscany stew Omg cant wait.

Ingredients:

1 kg Chuck or blade steak
3 Carrots, peeled and sliced
Little corn
1 Onion thinly sliced
6 Garlic cloves chopped
Celery
Tin of pineapple including the juice
(Potatoes boiled towrds then end)
To make the sauce: two TBL spoons of coffee in mug mixed with hot water.
Soft brown sugar about 4 table spoons
2 gravy mix sachets
Half cup of red wine
Italian herbs
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 cup Water to cover.

Directions:

Cooked for 8 hours 6 on high 2 hours on low

Served with home made bread

I cannot stand coffee, can this be made without or can you not tell it’s in there x

It’s a traditional Italian sauce. Coffee makes it rich and Smokey. The caffeine will cook off just like the alcohol in the wine if your worried about that:)

Theresa O’Reilly you cant tell it’s in there it just gives a rich smoky flavor. Its traditional Italian sauce so unsure how it would taste with out it.
