What You Need

  • 2 pounds ribeye steaks (or any steak you like), cut into big pieces

  • 2 pounds baby gold potatoes, washed and cut in half

  • 1 packet (1 ounce) French onion soup mix

  • 4 tablespoons real butter, cut into small pieces

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (if you want, for pretty color)

How to Make Slow Cooker Steak and Potatoes

  1. Wash baby gold potatoes. Cut each one in half so they cook fast and soak up flavor.

  2. Put the cut potatoes in the bottom of your crock pot.

  3. Add ribeye steak pieces on top of potatoes.

  4. Sprinkle the whole packet of French onion soup mix over everything.

  5. Put butter pieces all around on top.

  6. Shake on salt and pepper.

  7. Put the lid on tight. Cook on LOW for 6 hours till steak is soft and potatoes are tender.

  8. Sprinkle parsley on top to make it look nice.
