What You Need
-
2 cans (6 oz each) white crab meat, drained good
-
8 oz cream cheese, soft and in chunks
-
1/2 cup mayonnaise
-
4-6 rolls, hoagie buns, or hamburger buns (for eating)
How to Make It
-
Dump the drained crab meat in a pile in the middle of your slow cooker. Leave it like a little hill on the bottom.
-
Put cream cheese chunks all over the top of the crab. Don’t mix yet! Keep crab down low and cheese on top.
-
Spoon mayo over the cheese. Spread it a bit with the spoon back, but no stirring. The cooker will mix it later.
-
Put the lid on. Cook on LOW for 1.5-2 hours, or HIGH for 45-60 minutes. Wait till cheese melts and it’s hot and bubbly.
-
Take off lid. Stir it all up good till smooth and creamy. You can add a little salt or pepper if you like.
-
Toast your buns quick in a pan or oven till golden.
-
Pile hot crab mix on bottom buns, add top bun. Eat right away while warm! Keep extra in cooker on WARM.
Serve with salad, chips, or pickles. Yum!
