Slow Cooker Curry Sausage
Ingredients:
1 packet herb & garlic sausages cut into 1cm pieces or size you want.
1 tsp heap curry powder (more if you like it spicy)
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 bay leaves
1/2 tablespoon mixed herbs
1 tsp heap gourmet powder
1 tsp beef stock powder
1/4 tsp celery salt
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp white pepper
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp tomato paste
2 cups real beef stock
1 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
1/4 cup frozen baby peas
1 medium parsnip diced
1 cup chopped Savoy cabbage
1/4 cup finely chopped silverbeet.
1 large carrot diced
3 large potatoes large dice
1 onion diced
1/4 red capsicum diced
Directions:
Put slow cooker on sear mode. When up to temperature, Add 1 tablespoon oil to the slow cooker bowl add sausages and brown. Remove to a separate plate.
Add onions and garlic, cook until onions are just soft. Add curry powder, tomato paste & mixed herbs cook until fragrant.
Put the sausages back in the pan along with the rest of ingredients (except the peas).
Bring to the boil then put slow cooker on low mode & cook until potatoes are just cooked. Add peas thicken if need and serve when peas are heated through.
Serve with basmati rice & flatbread.
