Slow Cooker Chicken Legs (2 Ingredients)

Ingredients:

▢8 drumsticks about 3 lbs/ 1.4 kg
▢fine sea salt and ground black pepper
▢2 cups BBQ sauce divided, Note 1

Instructions:

Dry the drumsticks with paper towels.
Marinate them generously with salt and pepper and place them in the slow cooker.

Now pour 1 1/2 cups of sauce over them and coat the chicken legs well.

Save the remaining sauce for broiling.

Now cook the chicken legs on high for 3 1/2 to 4 hours or on low for 5 to 6 hours until the chicken legs are very tender.

Broiling is (optional, but in our opinion, it should be done.)

Preheat the broiler then line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

Now transfer the chicken legs to the prepared baking sheet with tongs.

brush these chicken legs with the reserved sauce.

Now broil them for 1- 2 minutes until the skin becomes sticky and the sides are lightly charred.

Now flip the chicken legs and brush the other side with barbecue sauce.

we need to broil the chicken legs for another 1- 2 minutes.

Keep an eye on the drumstick to make sure the skin doesn’t burn.

Now garnish as desired. ( sesame seeds, parsley, or red chili flakes, etc.) & serve immediately.
