Slow cooker beef brisket with gravy & beef dripping roasties, absolutely amazing.
Ingredients:
1kg Beef Brisket
1/2 large onion
2 cloves of garlic
400ml of rich beef stock
Gravy granules
Directions:
First Chop 1/2 large onion & lay on bottom of slow cooker with 2 cloves of crushed garlic, pop the beef brisket on top & then pour over 400ml of rich beef stock.
Cook on low for 8-9 hours, then remove fat from beef & shred. Add more water (if needed) and gravy granules to the slow cooker juices until desired thickness, then put the shredded beef back in & keep warm until ready to eat!
For the roasties – add the beef fat to a oven tray & pop in the oven to melt, par boil potatoes until tender then toss with pinch of plain flour & an oxo cube! Tip potatoes into the hot tray & turn regularly cooking for about 40/60 minutes!
