2nd batch made – Slow Cooker Baileys Fudge topped with Maltesers and Orange Matchsticks YUMMO.
Ingredients:
500g Milk Chocolate (Broken into squares)
1 Tin Condensed Milk
1 teaspoon butter
A dash of Vanilla Essence
Directions:
Melt all of the above on the low setting in the slow cooker, once started to melt start to stir with a metal spoon. I personally stir pretty often, keeping an eye on it, as my SC has hot spots! Stir until the Fudge mix is coming away from the sides, and when it drops off the spoon and softly lays on the top, you will know when its done (mine took about 30mins). Switch SC off.
2 Standard shots of Baileys
Mix in the two shots of Baileys liquor (one at a time). Keep stirring whilst in the SC (Power off), so it starts to set again.
Remove and pour into a greaseproof lined slice tin. Smooth over.
You can leave as is, but I chose to add some Maltesers and Orange Matchsticks cut up. Place on top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, if not longer.
(Eat the remainder by scrapping the bowl clean!!! lol)
Cut up and serve of place in an airtight container, wrapped in some greaseproof paper and leave in fridge. (Won’t last long as you’ll keep returning to try it!!!) I believe you can freeze also, but doesn’t last that long for me to attempt this.
