Slow Cooker Apricot chicken

Slow Cooker Apricot chicken. I just served it with Rice.

INGREDIENTS:

1kg chicken of your choice (drumsticks, thigh or breast fillets, wings) (I used thigh)
1 40 gram packet dry French onion soup mix
1 diced onion
One of the following: 1 425ml tin of apricot nectar OR 1 jar apricot jam OR 1 tin apricot pieces in juice (I used apricot halves in juice)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Lay chicken & diced onion in the slow cooker bowl
Combine soup mix & apricot option of your choice.
Pour over chicken and mix it all around so it’s all covered.
cook on low for 5- 6 hours approx.
I ended up adding a little but of chicken stock half way through to have more liquid.
