Garlic Butter Steak Tips: Instructions
-
Place a large saucepan of salty water to boil. Simmer cook rigatoni until soft but firm. Drain, reserve about ½ cup of pasta water.
-
Pat steak slices dry with paper towels. Season with salt, black pepper, and Cajun seasoning if using.
-
Put olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large pan. Heat it on medium-high flame.
-
Place steak in a single layer and sear 2–3 minutes per side until brown and tender. Remove steak and loosely wrap to keep warm.
-
Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter and garlic; cook 1 minute.
-
Add cream and milk, stirring, and simmer a few minutes until slightly thickened.
-
Add mozzarella and Parmesan, one after another, stirring until smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add pasta water if sauce is too thick.
-
Add the cooked rigatoni to the cream cheese sauce and stir well so the pasta is covered.
-
Put the steak pieces on top of the pasta and pour the garlic butter from the pan over it.
-
If you like, sprinkle chopped parsley and a few red pepper flakes on top.
