Boneless Country-Style Ribs Slow Cooker. Boneless Ribs: With only 3 ingredients. They melt in the mouth when cooked in low and slow in BBQ sauce.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Use about 3 to 3 and a half pounds of boneless pork ribs

  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups barbecue sauce (whatever you like in the store or make yourself)

  • 1 packet onion soup mix (approximately 1 ounce)

Boneless Country-Style Ribs: Directions

  1. Blot the country-style ribs that are boneless with paper towels. In case of any extra-large ones, chop them into more similar sized portions in order to cook equally.

  2. Coat the inside of your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray or grease a little with some oil so that it is easily cleaned up.

  3. Combine the barbecue sauce together with the onion soup mix in a small bowl. And this is your plain and tasty soup.

  4. Ribs should be placed in the bottom of the slow cooker with a thin layer of the sauce topped off and the ribs should be placed in the bottom in a single layer as far as possible. It is alright that they may overlap.

  5. Evenly pour the sauce onto the ribs and toss them with tongs to ensure every individual piece of the ribs is covered.

  6. Cook on the LOW or HIGH about 6 to 8 hours or 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 hours, until ribs are extremely tender and can be pulled apart with a fork.

  7. When it is cooked, remove the lid, taste the sauce, and adjust seasoning as necessary (you are not likely to need any extra salt due to the onion soup mix, but a spoonful of black pepper or a splash of vinegar may be added, to your taste).

  8. The ribs should be served hot with lots of sauce on top. You can pull the ribs into a few pieces with two forks directly in the slow cooker to make them more of a pulled pork type to pile over mashed potatoes, or rice or cut into buns.
