Crock Pot Banana Bread
2 Qtr. required
While stirring up the ingredients for this bread, take crock out of pot and spray or butter inside.
Put lid on crock base and turn to HIGH to preheat.
In a bowl, add bananas, butter, egg and vanilla. Mix.
2 small bananas, mashed
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
Then add flour, baking soda and salt. Nuts optional. Mix until all is moistened.
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup nuts, chopped
Pour in greased crock.
Cover and bake on HIGH 3 hours. Check at 2 1/2 hours for doneness.
The bread is done when a toothpick is inserted in center of bread and comes out clean.
Switch crock pot to off and remove stoneware. Gently loosen edges with a knife and invert onto a cooling rack.
Bread stays fresh for 3-4 days and stores best if refrigerated after the first day.
