Victoria Sponge, made in the slow cooker!
Ingredients:
175g of self raising flower
175g of golden caster sugar
175g soft butter
3 eggs
Vanilla essense
Pinch of baking powder.
Directions:
Lightly greased slow cooker pot and lined the bottom with baking paper
Double cream whipped for 10 mins and strawberry jam for the middle and icing sugar to dust the top š
Cooked on high for 3 hours, checked it every hour, tea towel on the lid to soak up the moisture.
For everyone asking, I left a longer piece of baking paper at the side so I could pull it out, and I literally put the cake batter mix straight in the pot. I also use a 3.5L slow cooker, hope this helps.
