Today i am very excited, I’ve just done slow cooker lamb shanks and they were bloody gorgeous so thought I’d share. First we move toward the ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 2 lamb shanks
- 2 carrots
- 1 parsnip
- 1 onion
- 2 potatoes (Large)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 large glass red wine
- 1 lamb stock pot
- Chopped all the veg into large chunks
- Rubbed mint sauce all over shanks
- Crushed the garlic
- About 300ml of the lamb stock
Method:
First threw all ingredients in the slow cooker no browning etc. Put the lid on and cook on 6 hours on auto.
Lifted the veg out at the end and cooked in oven on 200 deg for 30 mins. Thickened gravy and left shanks in to keep hot.
