Slow Cooker Chicken Dumplings

Slow Cooker Chicken Dumplings in my 20 year old crockpot… used a tip from this site to thicken the broth.

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon salt
1 cup celery diced
2 cups potatoes diced
1 cup sharp cheddar shredded cheese
1 family size cream of chicken can
32 oz of chicken broth
1 table spoon of dried onion flakes
1 table spoon garlic powder
3 chicken breasts
1 teaspoon pepper
1 can of biscuit dough cut up in half’s and rolled into balls
2 cups carrots diced
1 tablespoon of flour
1 small bag frozen peas
1 teaspoon of dried parsley

Directions:

cook on low for 8 hours…. add flour, frozen peas, cheese, biscuit dough 40 minutes before end cooking time.

Stir well and break up chicken prior to adding dough balls… last step before lid goes back on is the sprinkle of parsley.

Once served for a Cajun kick add Slap Your Mama Spice to taste. Enjoy!
