Slow Cooker Berry Cobbler (using frozen berries)
Ingredients

Slow Cooker Berry Cobbler
-
1 (16-20 oz) bag frozen mixed berry (approximately 4 cups; no need to thaw)
-
(15.25 oz) 1 box of yellow or white cake mix (dry mix only)
-
2 cups milk
-
, divided into half.
-
Directions
-
Any cooking spray or a small amount of butter applied to the inside of your slow cooker will help prevent sticking and will also make it easier to clean up.
-
Add the frozen mixed berries to the bottom of the slow cooker and spread the berries evenly. You need not have to defrost the berries.
-
Evenly sprinkle the cake mix on the top of the top of the berries, and cover them as completely as possible. Do not stir; and you want a layer of dry mix over.
-
Pour the melted butter slowly over the dry cake mix in a slow drizzle so as to moisten as much of the surface as possible. Well, it does not matter when some dry spots are left–the steam of the berries will cook them.
-
Pour into the slow cooker and cover with the lid and cook on either HIGH (2-2 1/2 hours) or on LOW (3 1/2-4 hours) until the top is firm and the berries are bubbling at the edges. The covering of the cobbler will be spongy and not crisp.
-
When the cobbler is cooked, switch off the slow cooker and allow it to rest a little with the cover on top to allow it to harden. And then pour into bowls and warm up and place topping of your choice on top.
