Ingredients + Method:
I pulled out 500g of diced beef from freezer last night.
What do I have in the fridge/pantry?
Carrot, celery, turnip, bok Choy (stems in now, leaves at the end), onion and potatoes.
What liquid/flavour do I feel like today?
475g jar of chicken tonight’s Creamy stroganoff. Omg but it’s “chicken tonight” and I pulled out beef!!! Sounds good to me.
Now these jars, never seem to have enough grunt for me, so I add (In a small jug) teasp of beef stock powder, squirt of tomato paste, pepper and salt, a good dump of country relish, and a dash of hickory smoke liquid (I just can’t get enough of that stuff. Mix with 1/3 cup of water.
Cook on low for 7 hrs. Add the leaves from bok choy and half a small tub of sour cream for last half hour of cooking. Your delicious slow cooker beef stew is ready to serve. Stay with us to find more delicious recipes.
