Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 thick-cut boneless or bone-in pork chops
  • 2 apples, cored and sliced
  • 1 cup apple pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Slow Cooker Apple Cinnamon Pork Chops: Directions

  1. If you want, lightly spray the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray. Then spread the sliced apples out evenly across the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Lay the pork chops on top of the apple slices, making sure they sit in a flat, even layer so they cook evenly.
  3. Spoon the apple pie filling over the top of the pork chops, spreading it out so it covers most of the meat. Then sprinkle the ground cinnamon evenly over everything.
  4. Put the lid on the slow cooker. Cook it on LOW flame for 4 to 6 hours, or on HIGH heat for 2 to 3 hours, until the pork chops are soft, juicy, and fully cooked through.
  5. Once done, carefully lift the pork chops onto plates. Spoon some of the warm, soft apples and sauce from the slow cooker over each pork chop before serving warm.
