My trusty slow cooker is with me to ensure I do not live on ready meals…
My version of Slow Cooked shepherds pie.
Ingredients:
750g minced beef
2 tea cups of frozen diced onions
400g button mushrooms (love mushrooms)
2 tea cups of frozen peas
Salt/pepper as required
Directions:
Put all Ingredients on high adding 300 mls of water mixed with an oxo cube.
Leave it for 4 hours then add gravy granules to thicken.
I top this with both mash potato & swede/carrot mash to get those extra veggies into me.
6 servings, 4 for the freezer.
