Slow cooker Rolled Pork Roast
Ingredients:
2 Carrots
2 Apples
1.5kg rolled pork
Salt (as you taste)
Method:
I rubbed salt into the top of the roast, and placed the roast on a bed of chopped carrots and apples, no liquid, and cooked on low for 7 hours. Removed roast & rubbed more salt into the top of the roast, then Transferred into a very hot oven (250’C) for 25 minutes, hey presto – crackle. I strained the juices in the bottom of the slow cooker to make gravy. Hubby says I’m never to cook it any other way from now on! Delishhhh.
