Easy slow cooker pasta bake with beef, sausage, and cheese, perfect for lazy days, rich flavor, minimal effort, and family comfort.

We refer to it as Lazy Day Ziti, in our house. It is so nice, no one would imagine how it is so easy!
Ingredients

ground beef → 1 lb

Italian sausage (beef or chicken, casing stripped) → 1/2 lb

pasta (penne or rotini are the most suitable) → 2 cups
-
marinara or pasta sauce → 3 cups
-
beef broth → 1 cup
-
mozzarella cheese, shredded. → 1 cup
-
cheddar cheese, shredded → 1/2 cup
-
Parmesan cheese → 1/4 cup
-
small onion, finely chopped → 1
-
garlic, minced → 3 cloves
-
Italian seasoning → 1 teaspoon
-
paprika → 1 teaspoon
-
black pepper → 1/2 teaspoon
-
salt (to taste) → 1/2 teaspoon

Available items: turkey bacon bits or pepperoni slices to make it seem more like a meat lover.
Pasta Bake of Slow Cooker: Instructions

Brown the meats
In a skillet, sausage and ground beef are cooked on medium heat until they are brown. Drain excess fat. -
Layer in the slow cooker
Add pre-cooked meat, onion, garlic, pasta, marinara sauce, beef broth, and all seasonings. Stir well. -
Slow cook
Bake on HIGH or LOW 2-3 or 3-4 hours until pasta is tender. -
Cheese time
Gently stir, top with mozzarella, cheddar and Parmesan. -
Finish
Cover and bake another 15- 20 minutes until the cheese is molten and boiling. -
Serve
Allow to rest 5 minutes and eat.
