Slow Cooker Mars bar fudge
Ingredients:
400 grams/14oz of chocolate
4 Mars Bars
A tablespoon of butter
400 grams/14oz tin of condensed milk
Packet of Smarties of M&Ms
Instructions:
Break up the bars of regular chocolate & slice up the Mars bars to make them easier to melt. Place all the broken chocolate, the butter & the tin of condensed milk in the slow cooker.
Leave the lid off & stir with a metal spoon (rather than wooden spoon). Leaving the lid off stops condensation from forming in the Slow cooker, as the water dripping back in isn’t good for the fudge. Also, make sure you put the slow cooker on low!
Stir the fudge every 15 minutes. I cooked mine for about an hour & a half, & just stirred it periodically as I was doing other kitchen chores.
Line a container with grease proof paper. I used a ceramic serving dish of around 7″,10” . But just use this as a guide & use what you have handy.
Pour the mix into the container & smooth it so it’s of even depth throughout.
