Kaths Beef Stew
Ingredients:
1 kg diced beef
1 pkt. french onion soup
4 carrots diced
6 potatoes diced
4 sticks celery diced
1 med to lge. onion diced
Add turnip swede etc. if you like.
1 tin diced tomatoes plus tin water to swish tin out
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce (I use Spring Gully brand Sth. Australian company) as it has a sweetness to it)
2 sachets tomato paste but tomato sauce will suffice
2 cups frozen peas thrown in last 1/2hour
2 tablespoon gravy powder mix in at the end.
Directions:
You can either throw all in slow cooker and mix or I browned meat, onion and soup mix then threw in. 8 hours or longer on low should be fine. Enjoy.
