Quick Recipe Fun
(Makes 4 plates)
What You Need
-
4 big pork chops without bones (about 1 to 1.5 pounds)
-
1 can (10.5 oz) chicken soup cream
-
1/4 cup Dijon mustard (or yellow for less zing)
-
1/4 cup honey
How to Make Honey Mustard Pork Slow Cooker
-
Wipe pork chops dry with a towel. Cut off extra fat so it’s not oily.
-
For yummy brown color (optional): Heat a pan hot. Spray oil. Cook chops 1-2 minutes each side till edges turn dark. Not all the way done! Put in slow cooker.
-
Mix soup, mustard, and honey in a bowl till smooth and yellow.
-
Pour mix over chops. Spread so meat sits in sauce.
-
Cover. Cook on low 5-6 hours or high 2.5-3 hours till soft and easy to cut. Don’t peek!
-
Scoop out chops. Stir sauce. Put chops back or pour sauce on top. Taste—add honey if sweeter or mustard if tangier. Eat hot with sides!
