Ingredients

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 cup quick grits

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • Black pepper to taste

  • 4 eggs

  • 4 slices toasted bread

Grits and Eggs: Directions

  1. Put the water and milk in a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil.
