Garlic Focaccia Bread

Garlic focaccia bread. YUM! This is based on a recipe from this site, but I don’t remember whose! A wholehearted thanks from my family to whoever it was though!!

Ingredients:

3 cups self raising flour
2 cups warm water
Salt (as you like)
2 tablespoons dried garlic granules
1/2 – 3/4 cup Grated tasty cheese
1/2 – 3/4 cup Bacon pieces

Garlic Focaccia Bread

Instructions:

Mix this together well. I thought it was too sticky and wet when I made it, but as you can see it turned out just fine!
Line the slow cooker with baking paper, then spray the paper with cooking spray. Spread the dough evenly over the paper ( but no need to be too precious and precise!)
Spread diced bacon and grated cheese over the top of the dough, then sprinkle some dried parsley on the top to decorate. Bake on high setting for one and a half hours with a tea towel over the slow cooker but under the lid (absorbs moisture that would otherwise drip on the bread).
This one didn’t last long, and I already have requests to make more! Enjoy!
