Slow Cooker Fried Rice Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cup white rice
3 cup beef stock OR chicken stock
4 tablespoon peanut oil – olive or canola works too
1 large brown onion
4 cloves garlic
Handful chopped almonds
2 eggs
1 cup frozen vegies (corn carrot peas capsicum)
1/2 cup chopped bacon
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Directions:
Add stock in slow cooker set to HIGH.
Heat raw rice & oil in hot saucepan till rice gets golden brown constantly stirring ( 3 minutes)
put the veggies & 2 eggs stir for 1 minute , then add to slow cooker & mix in with stock.
first bacon cook in fry pan till crispy add to slow cooker
Cook onion in fry pan until golden add the garlic, chopped up almonds, soy sauce, fish sauce & anything else you wish to add flavour then add it to slow cooker.
Cook for 1.5 hours on high WITH tea towel under the lid.
