Egg and Bacon Sandwich. This is my favorite quick breakfast. I love the crispy bacon and gooey cheese with warm bread. A simple, tasty sandwich you can make fast. Crispy bacon, a warm fried egg, and melted cheddar are stacked between toasted buttery bread. It’s perfect for school mornings or a quick snack. Kids can help with simple steps, and it fills you up with yummy flavors.
Ingredients
-
4 slices white bread
-
4 bacon strips
-
2 eggs
-
2 slices cheddar cheese
-
1 tablespoon butter
-
Salt (to taste)
-
Black pepper (to taste)
Egg and Bacon Sandwich: Directions
-
Fry the bacon in a pan over medium heat until it turns brown and crunchy. Move bacon to a plate lined with paper towel to drain.
-
Put butter on one side of every slice of bread.
-
Put the buttered bread slices in a clean pan, butter-side down, and toast until they are golden brown.
-
In the same pan or a new one, fry the eggs the way you like (runny or cooked through). Sprinkle a little salt and black pepper on each egg.
-
Place a slice of cheddar on two toasted bread pieces so the cheese starts to melt.
-
Put one fried egg on each cheese-covered toast, then add two bacon strips on top of each egg.
-
Cover with the remaining toasted bread slices, press down gently, and cut if you want.
-
Serve right away while the cheese is melty and the sandwich is hot.
