CROCKPOT LASAGNA. When you make lasagna. You don’t have to worry about making dinner because just add a browned beef mixture with cherry filling and tomato sauce between nine bags of lasagna noodles and let it cook on low for a few hours. It’s the perfect no-fuss weeknight meal.
This slow cooker lasagna recipe that takes minimal prep time. Just brown the meat, layer it with the stuffing and sauce, and set it to cook slowly for a few hours. Then go about your business and you’ll have a cheesy, sauce-filled pasta dish ready for dinner.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
12 lasagna noodles
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup beef broth
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cups cottage cheese
1 egg
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions
First brown the ground beef in a skillet & drain off the excess fat. Mix mix Italian seasoning, cottage cheese, egg, pepper and salt in a large bowl and spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the crockpot. Add a layer of uncooked lasagna noodles, breaking them up to fit if needed. Top with some beef, cheese mixture, mozzarella, and more sauce. Repeat the layers until ingredients are used, finishing with sauce and mozzarella on top. Pour beef broth around the edges.
Cover and cook:
4–5 hours on low until noodles are tender and cheese is melted.
