Creamy Pesto Chicken Fettuccine
Ingredients:
●1kg chicken breast chunks
●2 heaped spoons full of basil pesto
●600ml cream
●300ml milk
●Tricolor egg fettuccine
Instructions:
Place chicken chunks with pesto in slow cooker, cook on low 3 hours (my cooker is quite fast so adapt time accordingly). Add cream and milk. Fettuccine can be placed on top at this stage too. After an hour, check to see if the fettuccine is ready to stirred through. Continue cooking until pasta is cooked.
you can add the amount of pesto according to your taste. Some recipes use .25 of a cup to 500 grams of chicken but I’d rather add more if needed then overkilling it at the start!
PS. Sorry if there are other similar recipes out there but I couldn’t find any that were adapted to the slow cooker or for bigger families.
