These slow cooker corn dog meatballs only need four ingredients, and they make dinner so much easier on busy nights. They mix the fun taste of corn dogs with the yummy flavor of barbecue meatballs, all cooked together in one warm and cozy dish. This meal is great for game days, parties, or any night when you want dinner to be simple but still something everyone will love.

Serve them with coleslaw, potato wedges, baked beans, or a fresh green salad to go along with the sweet and savory taste. They are also perfect for a party table with pickle spears, kettle chips, and small bowls of extra barbecue sauce, honey mustard, or yellow mustard for dipping.

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (32 ounces) frozen mini corn dogs, fully cooked
  • 1 bag (26 ounces) frozen raw beef meatballs
  • 1 bottle (18 ounces) barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey mustard

Corn Dog Meatball Bites: Directions

  1. Get the slow cooker ready. If you want, spray the inside of your slow cooker with a little nonstick cooking spray. This makes cleanup much easier later. Then, place the frozen raw beef meatballs in the bottom of the slow cooker, spreading them out into one even layer.
  2. Add the corn dogs. Pour the frozen mini corn dogs right on top of the meatballs. Spread them around gently so they sit loosely on top and mix in a little, instead of piling up in one spot.
  3. Make the sauce. In a small mixing bowl, stir together the barbecue sauce and honey mustard until they are fully blended and smooth. Pour this sauce evenly over the corn dogs and meatballs so every piece gets some coverage.
  4. Cook it low and slow. Put the lid on the slow cooker. Cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours, or on HIGH for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. If you can, gently stir once or twice while it cooks. You’ll know it’s done when the meatballs are fully cooked and the corn dogs are hot all the way through.
  5. Serve and enjoy. Give everything one more gentle stir. Serve the meatballs warm right out of the slow cooker, or scoop them into a serving bowl. Add extra mustard or barbecue sauce on the side for dipping if you’d like.
