Bread and Butter Pudding
Ingredients:
1 Loaf of bread
8 eggs
2 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
1 liter milk
2 tsp vanilla essence
Directions:
I used a loaf of bread, brown sugar with Nutmeg set to the side. Beat eggs with milk and vanilla essence really well. I removed the crust buttered side to the dish then in middle layers I sprinkle sugar & nutmeg. When bread is placed pour over eggs mixture. Cook on high for 4 hours. It’s smooth and custardy. DOES NOT RESEMBLE SOGGY BREAD. I made the recipe up. The only thing to remember is the egg mix must cover all the bread. Sprinkle a little sugar and nutmeg on top then cook

Answer: No my cooker is like a 3 in one the lid is like a locking one. I’ve not used a Towel in the old one. Turned out just perfect ?
Question: No sultanas?
Answer: No I’m not keen on them you can cut the sugar out and spread favorite jam instead. You can put what ever you want. I just like the plain nutmeg bit of ice cream and some pouring cream… a bowl of heaven on a cracker.
Question: Looks like too much egg? ?
Answer: Na, we have our own cookies and they bless us with rich yummy free range eggs.
