  • Soy sauce

    • Quantity: 2 tbsp
  • Honey

    • Quantity: 2 tbsp
  • Rice vinegar

    • Quantity: 1 tbsp
  • Garlic powder

    • Quantity: 1 tsp
  • Salt and pepper

    • Quantity: to taste
  • Cooked white rice

    • Quantity: for serving
  • Sesame-seeds and chopped green onions.

    • Quantity: for garnish

Directions For Sticky Sweet and Sour Chicken Recipe

  1. Prepare Oven: Turn on the oven to 400 deg F (200 deg C).

  2. Cleaning the cutting sheet: Remove off foil or parchment paper by smearing a baking sheet.

  3. Prepare Ingredients: Prepare all the ingredients in one bowl containing the sweet and sour sauce, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  4. Coat Chicken: On sheet prepared, place chicken, pepper and pineapple. Coat the chicken and vegetables evenly with the sauce and toss to combine.
  5. Bake: Place in the already hot oven and bake 25-30 minutes or until the meat is well cooked and the vegetables are tender.

  6. Serve: Serve the sweet and sour chicken using the cooked white rice. Sesame seed and chopped green onion are good garnishes.
