My successful pavlova in the slow cooker. I’m impressed with how it turned out since the first was a flop ?
Here’s the recipe for all those not wanting to scroll through & find it ? I used an old round cooker, maybe 5lt? It’d work in any reasonable size one I’d say ???
Ingredients:
6 egg whites
230 gram caster sugar
2 tsp cornflour
1 tsp vanilla essence
Directions:
Spray slow cooker with oil and line with baking paper (be sure not to coat the inside of the paper where mixture goes!)
Turn on low and put lid on
Whisk egg whites until soft peaks
While beating add 1T caster sugar at a time.
Add cornflour 1 tsp at a time
Add vanilla last
Don’t over beat.
Spoon into slow cooker, cover with tea towel and put lid on.
Cook on low for 2 hrs, no peeking.
Turn off & let cool 30-40 minutes without removing lid.
Lift pavlova out & enjoy!! (Or pour it out like in my case ?)
