3-Ingredient Saucy BBQ Beef

3 Ingredient Slow Cooker BBQ Beef (Slow Cooker)

Ingredients.

2-3 lb beef chuck roast (or brisket)
1 bottle (18 oz / 510 g) BBQ sauce (any favourite brand)
1 packet dry onion soup mix

Instructions

1. Add beef to the crockpot
Put the beef roast directly into the slow cooker.

2. Season & sauce

Evenly sprinkle the onion soup mix on the beef that is dry.
Pour over the meat and cover with the BBQ sauce.

3. Slow cook

Cover and cook:
LOW: 8 hours
HIGH: 4-5 hours

4. Shred & serve

When the beef has become fork-tender, shred the beef with two forks and mix it with the sauce and serve.

Serves 6-8 people
It has varying prices depending on the size of the portion and the mode of serving.

Notes
There is no necessity to add water or broth, the beef gives out its juices.
It is not mandatory but good to brown the beef first.
Add your favorite BBQ sauce to the drink customization.

Tips for Best Results
Chuck roast produces the tenderest shredded beef.
It does not need additional salt because the onion soup mixture is salty.
To make a thicker sauce, keep the lid away during the last 20 minutes on HIGH.
Place the shredded beef right into the crockpot to retain its juiciness.
