Slow Cooker Sweet & Sour Pork Mince
Ingredients
500 gram pork mince
1 can pineapple pieces in juice (440 gram), drained and juice discarded
1 small red chilli deseeded and fine diced
2 tsp minced ginger
1 tsp minced garlic
1 red capsicum, core removed and diced
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1/4 cup oyster sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
First put all the ingredients in the slow cooker then cook on low for 5 hours.
If you want to thicken the gravy, then 1tablespoon of cornflour mixed with 1 tablespoon of water and stir it for 10 minutes before serving. But we didn’t feel it needed as a side dish with rice to soak up the sauce.
You can served it with rice and even enjoy it by adding it to a burger.
