Made a sweet beef curry Recipe for dinner this evening, was amazing.
Ingredients:
600g of cubed steak
1 onion sliced
1 teaspoon of curry powder, as much or as little as you like
1 dessert spoon of sugar
Good squeeze of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of desiccated coconut
A handful of saltanas
1-2 tablespoons of raspberry jam
Pinch each of salt and pepper
Directions:
Mix all together, cooked it in my 1.5 litre slow cooker with tea towel under lid.
Cooked for 3 hours on low , then 1 hour on high.
About half hour before serving I mixed 1 teaspoon of cornflour with a little water to thicken.
This amount was perfect for the 2 of us, I served with some leftover rice and risoni and potato. Have served it before with rice and mixed veggies.
