I did the lasagne! My first ever lasagne however it’s cooked! I opted for 6 hours on low version but only did 5 1/2 hours as thought it might be getting too dry.
I had a tea towel under lid or maybe it was due to that I browned the mince first? I added carrot, onion, tomatoes and courgette to the mince and it tastes lovely. I’m very pleased with my first attempt.
Slow Cooker Lasagne Recipe is:
I didn’t make my own sauces, had a jar of tomato & herb pasta sauce and a Dolmio lasagne white cream sauce (500g jars)
I diced:
- 2 tomatos
- 1 large carrot
- 1 large onion
- 1 courgette
Aadded that with the mince to brown. Once browned took off the heat and added the jar of pasta sauce. Greased the slow cooker pot and put a layer of mince. Then pasta sheets broken to cover it all. Then a layer of white sauce. Then another pasta layer.
Then a mince layer.Repeated the layers till out of mince. On top pasta layerI added the remaining white sauce, sliced a small mozzorella ball into 6 placed on the white sauce then covered with grated parmesan cheese.
It browned in the slow cooker.
Cooked on low for 5 1/2 hours with a tea towel under the lid. Slow cooker size 3.5L. Your slow cooker lasagne is ready to serve. Thanks for reading the recipe.
